·        How’s life?  D- In general a little fucked.. The 21st century took a turn for the worst. Corruption, Privatization, brutality.. We should all be way more fucking pissed.  ·        How long have you been making music? Almost 13 years now. I got my 1st drum set when I was 12. My cousin and I recorded our 1st demo on a karaoke machine but it would only record cassette tapes through these cheap plastic mics.... That band was called "Sewage." ·        How would you describe the process of your mixtape, did you enjoy making it? Agonizing... I've always made some type of underground music but this was the 1st project I took serious. To create a whole mixtape from scratch off an                  experimental genre that no ones ever heard before is definitely a pain in the ass but to have a finished product in t...

Time is everything

Time is the most valuable thing we have. I'm sure we all take it for granted from time to time but truth is, time is something we can never work to get back, we can't save up time, we can't buy it either. It's a very limited resource. So with that being said. Do what you love to do everyday from here on out. Don't let the system or the standard of society convince you to live a life you aren't comfortable living. We all have an expiration date, and when that day comes, we expel. What memories will lapse through your last fading vision? You decide.

Neighborhood Watch: Jaimel Bryant

(Jaimel Bryant - High ass Ollie. Photo by Unknown)  Jaimel was definitely one of the dudes I seen growing up skating and I consider his skating to be very inspirational and stylish. Dude was making noise a couple years back but he's been on the flipside making shit happen behind the scenes with being a father, grinding everyday, and skating in between. I chose Jaimel to interview because he's a kid with kids like me. Still chasing dreams and handling shit. Everyone is sleeping on the kid besides the Neighborhood Watch.  D- What's good man, how is everything going?   J- Another day in the neighborhood! Everything's a process at the moment day to day planning working non stop , my lil ones ! D- I haven't seen much magic on the board for a while now, what's going on with you and skateboarding, do you plan to drop a video part just for fun or are you just chillin as of now? J-  Well after dislocating my foot in 3 places 2 years ago honestly s...

RVSH Artist Collective - Intentions and Goals

Hello everyone, It's been a while since I've been able to get away and get back to writing articles. I've been putting in excess amounts of time working on music, graphics, and being a father for the first time. Over here at RVSH, we've been working hard to bring you all quality designs and apparel! We've been meeting with like minded individuals to try and bring a bit of flavor to Norfolk and possibly the cities around it. We intend to cater to the urban culture as well as exploring outside of that comfort zone. All of us here enjoy art and want to see success from local artists and beyond. In the mean time, we will keep teasing you with photos and hosting interviews that may influence and educate the youth.
